Located in Concourse B of Terminal 3, this expansive lounge offers an opulent retreat for premium travelers. Its strategic position ensures convenience and accessibility for passengers departing, transiting, or arriving at Dubai.
After arriving on our refreshed Emirates 777-200lr business class flight from Addis Ababa, we were met at the gate by the DXB International Hotel porter, who escorted us the transit hotel. Once our bags were dropped off, we made our way to the Dubai Emirates business class lounge, which just happened to be next to the hotel.

The Emirates Business Class Lounge is located on the terminal’s second floor and is accessible by escalator or elevator if you are lugging bags or need a lift. Once on the second floor, you will find several automatic gates for scanning boarding passes. Emirates staff is also available to offer assistance and guidance as needed.
Dubai Emirates lounge access is granted to Emirates’ First Class or Business Class passengers, along with Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold members and certain elite status holders with partner airlines in specific programs, like the Oneworld alliance.
Here are the primary ways to gain access:
- Emirates Business or First Class Ticket: Passengers flying in Emirates Business or First Class automatically receive access to the Emirates Lounge at DXB.

When I stepped inside, I was immediately blown away by the sheer size. The Dubai Emirates business class lounge has seating for over 1,300 passengers and spans ~100,000 square feet! It would be easy to get lost; however, Emirates does a great job providing signage.
I spent the first 15 minutes wandering around, checking out all the nooks and crannies and noting the various services and amenities along the way.
Seating Options
The lounge boasts a variety of seating options, ranging from cozy individual spaces to larger communal areas. Plush chairs and sofas create comfortable areas for relaxation or productivity, while ergonomic workstations cater to those needing a conducive environment for work.
All furnishings are crafted from leather and polished mahogany wood, creating an ambiance of sophistication complemented by subdued, atmospheric lighting. It is all very impressive and inviting. That said, it is a lot of brown and beige.
Dubai Emirates Business Class Lounge Rest Areas
Quiet rest areas provide a sanctuary for weary travelers. Whether it’s a quick power nap in a quiet corner or reclining in one of the cozy pods, these rest areas offer a serene respite from the airport’s hustle and bustle.
On my visit, these rooms were all in use which was a bit surprising given the lounges size. It would be nice to see less empty seats and more pods and rest area options.
Emirates Lounge Food
The culinary offerings at the Emirates Lounge are impressive. An extensive buffet spread awaits, featuring diverse international cuisines, freshly prepared dishes, and delectable desserts. From gourmet entrees to light snacks, the food area caters to various tastes and dietary preferences, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
There are several sections highlighting global cuisine. This includes Middle Eastern, Western, and Asia.
Personal highlights included a decent butter chicken, a Costa Coffee stand, an ice cream stall, and a great selection of Middle Eastern desserts like basbousa and baklava.
I also enjoyed the inclusion of a “Health Hub,” a collaborative partnership with Voss Water. The self-service space resembled a futuristic boutique, featuring well-lit counters adorned with sleek presentations of fresh fruits, high-end teas, infused water, and healthy snacks and dishes.
Dubai Emirates Business Class Lounge Champagne Bar
Now, to get to the highlight of the night!
Nestled within the lavish confines of the Dubai Emirates business class lounge, the Moët & Chandon Champagne Bar stands out as a crown jewel among its offerings and undoubtedly became my personal favorite area during my visit.
This exclusive feature elevates the lounge experience, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication. The refined setting exudes elegance, boasting an impressive selection of premium champagnes from a renowned label. From the moment I stepped into this section, the ambiance felt exceptional, creating an atmosphere perfect for relaxation or pre-flight celebration.
What truly sets the Champagne Bar apart is not just the array of exquisite bubbly but also the meticulously curated appetizer pairings that complement the flavors of the champagnes. The staff stationed at the bar are incredibly knowledgeable, offering expert recommendations and insights into the diverse champagne offerings. They guided me through the selections of the Moët Impérial, the Moët Rosé Impérial, the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage, and the Moët Nectar Impérial, suggesting delightful pairings that enhanced the tasting experience.
The attentiveness and expertise of the staff added a personalized touch, creating an immersive and indulgent experience that highlighted the lounge’s commitment to unparalleled service and attention to detail. This sophisticated corner within the Emirates Lounge undoubtedly embodies luxury and refinement, making it a must-visit spot for those seeking an exceptional lounge experience.
`Emirates DXB Shower Facilities
Although I didn’t personally indulge in the shower facilities, I popped my head in for a peek and can confirm that they stand as a testament to the lounge’s commitment to passenger comfort. Equipped with luxurious amenities and pristine cleanliness, these showers offer travelers a rejuvenating experience, ideal for refreshing during long layovers or before boarding a connecting flight.
Dubai Emirates Business Class Lounge Games Room
The lounge features a dedicated games room for those seeking entertainment. From video games to classic board games, this space offers a delightful diversion, allowing passengers to unwind and have some fun amidst their travels. They feature a Mario Kart arcade game that I previously played in Osaka and had to give it a go.

The Dubai Emirates business class lounge ranks up there with Oman Air’s lounge in Muscat and the Pearl Lounge in Bahrain.
