As noted in my 5 tips on surviving Universal Studios, this theme park is massive and needs to be navigated with thought. What I didn’t share is it is surprisingly photogenic in an odd way. It may seem strange to say but some of Florida’s prettiest parts are located in its theme parks…unless of course, you find swamps and sea cows eye-catching. From the re-created world’s of Harry Potter to my personal favourite, The Simpsons hometown of Springfield USA, a walk around Universal Studios is like walking through several of your favourite movie and television sets.
Although classics like Jaws are no more, there are still plenty of great sights to see in the beautifully recreated world that is Universal Studios Florida. But don’t just take my word for it. To help illustrate this thought here is my photo walk around Universal Studios. See for yourself why it tops my list of Orlando area to do’s.
Make the Most of Your Time
This, of course, is only a glimpse of what Universal Orlando has to offer. For a true peek behind the scenes of what makes movies magical, you just have to head there yourself. With cheap airfare and plenty of great accommodation options in and around Orlando, making that happen is easy and affordable. Be sure to check out my post on 5 tips on surviving Universal Studios before you go to make the most of your visit. Consider staying local at one of the resort hotels to capitalize on your time. We recently stayed at the waterpark themed Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and it made getting to/from the park a breeze leaving more time for rides and less for traffic.
Enjoy!

Although I was provided complimentary access for my photo walk around Universal Studios,
the experience, opinions, and surprising scenery are my own.
Great pictures of Universal and great tips! Will save this to check back on for when we schedule our trip there.
I live less than 3 hours away but have never been! I had a Disney annual pass when I went to college about an hour from there and wanted to make the most of that. I will have to check out Universal soon!
