Air Canada Black Friday Sale 2025: Maximize eStore Points

The Air Canada Black Friday sale is one of the best times of the year for Aeroplan members to earn bonus points and take advantage of deals on products they were already planning to buy. Having earned tens of thousands of Aeroplan points myself over the years, I’ve learned how to make the most of these seasonal promotions.

From leveraging the Aeroplan eStore to understanding which redemptions offer the best value, I’ll walk you through how to get the most out of the 2025 Aeroplan Black Friday deals.

TLDR: The real deal is in the Aeroplan eStore. Click here to jump to that section and download a copy of my Aeroplan eStore tracker for free!

Aeroplan Black Friday 2025 Deals

Each year, Air Canada rolls out limited-time promotions around Black Friday. This year’s Aeroplan offers are better than ever, with earn multipliers reaching as high as 18X with stacked bonuses for Aeroplan credit card holders, and limited-time redemption discounts.

Let’s break down what’s new for 2025.

Aeroplan Redemption Bonus – Use with Caution

Before diving into how to earn Aeroplan Black Friday bonus points, let’s quickly address the redemption promotions.

While Aeroplan has included several redemption bonuses this Black Friday, I recommend approaching them with some caution. Personally, I prefer saving my points for business class flights, where I’ve historically received the best value—such as during my 2024 mini round-the-world trip, where I flew Thai Airways First Class, United Polaris, and Lufthansa Allegris.

That said, here are this year’s highlighted redemption promos:

  • Save up to 15,000 points on select gift cards (valid until Nov 29)
  • Save up to 30% in points on electronics
  • Save up to 50% on fuel redemptions via Journie Rewards
  • Get up to 15,000 points back when redeeming 60,000 points on hotels or car rentals

These redemptions may be suitable if you’re not planning to fly soon, but in most cases, flights offer the greatest return.

Earning Points with Aeroplan Black Deals

In addition to redemption promos, Aeroplan members can rack up big-time bonus points through special earn promotions outside the eStore as well. These include limited-time bonuses with select Aeroplan partners and financial products.

  • Starbucks: Earn 850 bonus points by linking your Aeroplan and Starbucks accounts.
  • Chexy: Earn 1 point per $1 spent on rent, bills, and taxes—up to 3,000 points during the Black Friday promo week.

While not as high-value as the eStore, these offers are great ways to top up your account with points for spending you may already be doing anyway—especially during the holidays.

These are great ways to stack up bonus points while doing your regular shopping, and they add up over time.

Aeroplan Buy Points Promotion – Proceed Carefully

Aeroplan is offering a mystery bonus on purchased points for Black Friday. While tempting, I don’t usually buy points unless I’m topping up for a high-value redemption or there’s a 100% bonus or more, which tends to come around at other times of year.

Unless you’re a few points shy of a flight reward, this offer may not be the best use of your money.

Aeroplan eStore Black Friday: The Key to Maximizing Your Points

The Aeroplan eStore is the best place to earn large volumes of points during the Black Friday sales. Every year, I wait for this promo to stock up on personal items and gifts that I already planned to buy. In the past, I’ve earned 60,000+ Aeroplan points through this alone!

In 2025, participating retailers include Amazon, HP, Dyson, and many others. Over 300 brands are available, and when you stack the 50% Aeroplan credit card bonus, you can reach point multipliers of 18X and beyond.

➡️ This is the single best opportunity of the year to earn Aeroplan points fast.

The eStore has finally been updated with retailer information, and, again, several stores are offering 18X the points when paired with an Aeroplan branded credit card. This may be their best Aeroplan Black Friday deal to date!

Aeroplan eStore Exclusions

Before diving into the Black Friday shopping spree, it’s essential to double-check the exclusions for each store. For instance, Best Buy might not allow you to earn points on Apple products, or Apple itself might not allow points on newly released items like the latest iPhone. It’s important to carefully read the fine print and select your store wisely to ensure that you’re earning the maximum number of points.

Another example, Amazon lists categories that qualify for 18X points—like computers—but in the same breath, the exclusions say “computers.” Hmm… 🤔

It’s best to take screenshots of the listed offers and double-check category eligibility. If in doubt, shop from another eligible retailer.

Ensuring You Get Your Points

Unfortunately, getting your bonus Aeroplan points isn’t always as seamless as you might hope. I’ve had to follow up multiple times with Aeroplan to make sure my points were properly credited. This isn’t uncommon, but it’s definitely worth the extra effort to ensure you’re getting the points you’ve earned.

To keep track, I recommend using the tracker spreadsheet I’ve provided and setting a reminder about four months after your purchase to check your Aeroplan account. If the points haven’t appeared, simply use the “Where are my points?” section on the Aeroplan website and reach out to customer service, providing proof of purchase and ensuring you clicked through the eStore link.

Aeroplan Branded Credit Card Bonus

If you’re holding an Aeroplan-branded credit card, such as the AMEX Aeroplan card, you can earn an additional 50% more points on all your eStore purchases during the Black Friday promotion. This can really add up, especially if you’re shopping for big-ticket items.

If you don’t have one, I strongly recommend signing up for one here.

Plus, the AMEX Aeroplan card comes with other perks like priority check-in and access to airport lounges, which is something I can personally attest to—especially when visiting the San Francisco Maple Leaf Lounge or Winnipeg Maple Leaf Lounge on my travels.

My Aeroplan eStore Black Friday Store Strategy

I’ve created a custom Aeroplan eStore Black Friday tracker to plan my purchases and maximize my point earnings. You can download the Aeroplan eStore Black Friday tracker here to build your own shopping strategy—and see how I earned over 60,000 points last time.

Keep an eye on store exclusions—some retailers like Apple or Best Buy may limit points on select categories. Always read the terms before buying.

In fact, this year I held out on buying pet supplies until this promo because the eStore had early deals already running. Expect updates to the tracker as new stores and multipliers are revealed. Final Thoughts – Make the Most of the Air Canada Black Friday Sale

The Aeroplan Black Friday sale offers an incredible opportunity to earn extra points and even save on redemptions—but you need to go in with a strategy. Focus your spending through the Aeroplan eStore, take advantage of the AMEX 50% bonus, and skip lower-value redemptions if possible.

Whether you’re planning a future flight or just need to do some holiday shopping, this is one of the best times of year to build your Aeroplan balance.

Happy collecting— Don’t forget to track your points to ensure they’re credited correctly, and may your points take you somewhere amazing in 2026!
