Vancouver to SEATAC via Quick Shuttle
For vacationing Vancouverites, finding the cheapest flight to that warm destination often means flying out of Seattle. Prices can be significantly lower and flights can be more frequent out of SEATAC than YVR, however, it is a bit of a trade-off with convenience. Dealing with long border lines, parking your car, and driving yourself from Vancouver to SEATAC usually outweigh the savings – that is unless you take Quick Shuttle.
This big red bus cruises down the I-5 with passengers heading to Bellingham, the Premium Outlets at Tulalip, downtown Seattle, and SEATAC airport. They also connect passengers with the cruise ships in Vancouver as well as stops at major hotels throughout the city. All of this in a comfortable and, as the name suggests, quick ride.
I recently took Quick Shuttle from Vancouver to SEATAC (the first leg of my around the world trip) and was really happy with service. We were picked up on time at Cambie and 12th and greeted by the driver with a smile. No fuss with tickets as the driver scanned our passports to confirm our reservation. With that, we were off. Free onboard WiFi kept us entertained when the scenery didn’t and I was able to stretch out, relax, and enjoy the ride. Bus traffic at the border goes to a special area where passengers are unloaded with their belongs and processed by customs agents. This was by far faster waiting in line in a personal vehicle. After that, it was a quick nap and a movie – 2 things I wouldn’t have been able to do if I drove myself. Thanks to Quick Shuttle my trip from Vancouver to SEATAC left me refreshed and ready for my next around the world leg.

Although I was provided a comfortable and complimentary ride from Quick shuttle,
the experience, opinions, and words are my own.
Cute video Shaun! Looks like a nice way to travel.
It really is! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing this Shaun. Good to know and nice video.
Thanks Steve!
Might have to take this bus on my upcoming Alaska cruise! I fly into Seattle for a few days and was going to rent a car but parking at our hotel in Vancouver is very expensive! Thanks for the info!
No problem Pat! If you are planning on only visiting Vancouver then no need for a car. Vancouver is incredibly walkable and a beauty to boot. Quick Shuttle for the win.
Cute video! Looks like funn
Thanks Tara. It was fun!
Thank you so much for this article! I have lived in Vancouver for almost 6 months now and I’ve been dreaming of hoping the border to check out the outlet malls in Seattle but was hesitant to drive alone. Thanks to your info I can just hop on the shuttle – appreciate the info!
