First up on the tail end of my RTW lounge reviews is Vienna and a peek inside the Austrian Air Lounge. This stop marks the turnaround segment in my 9 business class flights for $325 and 90K Aeroplan points. With that came access to Star alliance airport lounges. This is how Vienna’s Austrian Airlines lounge looks.

Location
Vienna’s international airport is home to not one Austrian Air Lounge, but 7. As I was flying to a non-Schengen destination, this Austrian Air Lounge review is for the lounge located in departures G. Hours are 5:30 AM a.m. to 11:30 PMp.m. This is a good note as our early-morning flight had us there 20 minutes before this lounge opened.
Amenities
Amenities inside this business class lounge are pretty standard. You’ll find a business center, free wifi, showers, and plenty of room to stretch out.
Food and Drink
Food inside this Austrian Air Lounge was pretty basic, for early morning breakfast that is. I had an espresso and a slice of toast before heading to the bar and making a couple preflight Bloody Mary’s.
How to get in
Access comes inclusive with your business class or above ticket. Access is also given to those holding a valid Star Alliance Gold Card or a Miles & More Frequent Traveller Card. Not flying Business class? No worries. The Austrian Air Lounge at Vienna Airport is open to all passengers flying with Austrian Air or one of their Star Alliance partners. This will set you back 35 EUR which is steep. Based on my experience, I would pass on it if flying out early a.m.
Inside Vienna’s Austrian Air Lounge Good to Know
Includes: Food, drink, and preflight cocktails.
Don’t Miss: Mountain murals? I would skip this place.
