Air Canada Business Class Review
First up on my 9 business class flights on one $325 reward ticket is my Air Canada business class review. This domestic flight set the bar for the rest. Let’s see how it fared.
Details
Route: Edmonton to Toronto
Aircraft: Airbus 320
Seat: 2A
Highlights: Seats and entertainment.
Low lights: Food and entertainment.
Seats
This Air Canada business class review we are looking at a domestic flight with reclining seats that are 21.1 inches in width. Plenty of legroom and space here.
Service
Service onboard this Air Canada flight was similar to what is found in economy– pillows, blankets, USB outlets, ect. No points awarded here.
Food & Drink
Unlike economy, open bar and meals are provided in business class. Pretty standard and the meals were slightly above what you would expect from the economy.
Entertainment
Entertainment in Air Canada’s business class is no different than what is found in economy. This isn’t a negative on this Air Canada business class review as their in-flight entertainment is great with loads of options. It’s just the same as economy.
Overall
This Air Canada business class review should make you think twice about upgrading from economy… unless you’re flying Rouge, Air Canada’s budget carrier. For domestic flights, what you get in business class is upgraded seats, extra space, slightly above-average meals, free drinks, free checked bags, and lounge access. With Air Canada’s comfortable and entertaining economy seats, this is hardly worth the extra cost.
Unless of course you booked on points…
What say you?
