Perched on the western edge of volcanic island of Santorini you will find Oia. Beautifully stunning Oia. It’s white buildings with blue accents have become the iconic image of Greece. A short walk-through Oia and it’s easy to see why. People from all over the world flock here for its sunsets and sea views. While spending 3 days in Santorini I got to enjoy the sunset views and can say, it’s worth the hype. The combination of cliffside views, white buildings, and the bluest water you will ever see makes Oia a true gem. Add in great food, excellent wine, and a leisurely stroll and you have one great day of exploring. Whether you are travelling on a whim to Santorini or scored a great deal on a packaged holiday, a walk through Oia is a must do.
