4 too many days in Vegas

Not sure where I left off so here is the short and skinny:

Picked up Erin and headed south down the coast towards San Diego. We stopped in Laguna Beach for some amazing Mexican food and a look at the good life. After that we continued on down the coast taking the scenic route. We stopped at a beach and had a bottle of vine while watching the sun set and some dolphins playing in the surf. I got an amazing clip of the sun setting that I will post later.

The next day we toured through San Diego Zoo before heading towards the Mojave. We spent the night in 29 Palms and went bowling with the locals. Who does that?

The Mojave was really cool. We cut across on an off road trail and stopped at an abandoned mine. More wine was had which made us think about the pioneers who traveled by horse with little water through the same pass. Now a hundred or so years later we were traveling in an air conditioned-leather-interior ride listening to rap music and drinking wine. Too funny.

We made our way to the highway and then headed to Vegas which is were we have been for the last 2 days which has already been 2 days 2 many. Vegas is hard on the pocket book. Luck has not been on my side so far although we had a great time at “O” and hit the Bellagio buffet once already. Justin and Alison have just left and now we are awaiting the arrival of another group of friends.

Wish us luck, we need it.
